POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP
A full time post-doctoral position is available at the Life and Health Research Institute (ICVS) of Health Sciences School, Minho University, Braga, Portugal. The ICVS is an international research centre of excellence and promotes research on basic and applied biomedical and clinical aspects (http://ecs2005.ecsaude.uminho.pt/ecs2005/).
The work to be developed is within the scope of one of the ICVS’s research’s domain composed by a team of young enthusiastic researchers working on different aspects of yeast active cell death pathways and carrying out several research projects on the field.
The post-doctoral fellowship is starting 1 February 2007 and has the duration of 12 months that could be renewed by periods of 12 months to a maximum of 36 months according to scientific production. Net salary will be 1495€/month.
The candidate’s profile required includes a PhD on biological sciences with expertise in molecular microbiology. The applications should contain a CV, a biographical sketch outlining your aims for a career in the field of yeast active cell death pathways and at least two letters of support.
