Boa tarde,
Sinto muito, mas eu não falo Português (thanks to Google translator).
I won a BPD in Lisbon but it's the fourth time I'm looking in the rules and, still, I am not able to find any reference to which is the deadline to accept the bolsa.
I mean, there's written somewhere one should upload all the documents in six months, but there is no mention if I should in any case, I don't know, tell FCT ''thanks, I accept the fellowship'' or staff like this...
Is there anybody able to help me, please...
Obrigado

Re: Estrangeiro com bolsa BPD
Well, this may seem weird to you, but you don't have to do it.
You just have to upload all the documentation FCT is asking you to (and although the deadline is 6 months, the sooner you do it, the better for you, because they will only start paying you when all the paperwork is at order). After all the documentation is uploaded, they will check for any error. If everything is ok, they will send you two copies of your contract. Then you will have to sign both copies of the contract, and together with all the original documentation (or authenticated copies) you have previously electronically submitted, you’ll mail them to FCT. Thereafter, they will verify if the uploaded documents correspond with the ones you mail them and if everything is correct, they will sign both contracts and return you one of the copies.
Meanwhile you can start your work at 01 January and hopefully they will start paying you, after you have your signed contract in your hands
It’s a bit confuse, ah?
I wish you luck,
Inês
