Instituto de Telecomunicações, Lisbon, has two open positions for researchers in the framework of the above mentioned project included in the Instrumentation and Measurement Group (http://gim.lx.it.pt). The call is open to Bolsas de Investigação (BI) or Bolsas de Iniciação Científica (BIC). The monthly grant (tabled by FCT) is 745€ for Licenciados (BI), 980€ for MSc (BI) and 385€ for undergraduates (BIC).
The research topics included in the work are:
• Development and implementation of a two channel acquisition system based on a Microchip PIC or Analog Devices DSP;
• Implementation of PIC (or DSP) software for the control of the ADCs, retrieval of the ADC samples, communication with a LCD and communication for control purposes with a PC by RS232;
• Development of the analog front‐end circuitry to interface the input signals to the system ADCs;
• Implementation in LabVIEW of programs to communicate with the PIC (or DSP) system;
• Development and implementation of a PCB with the final solution.
