The goals of CEMPRE and CETE are to endorse academic research and publication of scientific research results in high quality international journals. Both financially support FEP’s Doctoral programme in Economics and have a leading role in several FEP Seminar series, a Working Paper series, and a Discussion Paper series.
The researcher will have no teaching obligations but may be called on to assist on the supervision of PhD students and lecture seminars within courses of the Doctoral Programme.
She/he is expected to co-author papers with CEMPRE/CETE researchers and/or supervised students, which will be presented at FEP Seminars and International conferences – with the financial support of CEMPRE – published as FEP Working Papers, and submitted under the affiliation to CEMPRE for publication in high quality international journals.
The researcher will be offered a working place in a very pleasant office, endowed with high quality computing facilities and access to the whole of FEP’s resources, namely online bibliographic and statistical databases, a very well equipped library, and technical assistance with computers and software.
The annual gross compensation is Eur 53732 (fifty three thousand, seven hundred and thirty two euros) plus a meal bonus of Eur 4.03 per working day. Mandatory employee’s social security contributions rate is 11% of gross compensation. As for income tax, for a single person without kids a rate of 25,5% applies.
