Second Summer School on Medicines- SSM2
“The whole process from ideas to drugs”
Toulouse / Barcelona 31th August – 10th September, 2010

After the successful first edition of the Summer School on Medicines-SSM1 in Barcelona (September 2009, www.pcb.ub.cat/ssm1/ ), we are pleased to announce the 2nd Summer School on Medicines-SSM2 “The whole process from ideas to drugs” organized in the frame of the Interbio project (INTERREG IV B SUDOE).
The summer school will be held in Toulouse and Barcelona from 31th of August to 10th of September 2010.
The focus of this summer school will be to present the whole process that leads from ideas, projects, first results to drugs reaching the market.
It will be organized around 4 sessions addressing issues related to:

· Basic science
· Drug development
· Technology transfer
· Clinical development

This summer school will include visits of research centers and pharmaceutical companies from Midi-Pyrénées and Barcelona. Short sightseeing tours of Toulouse, Albi (France) and Barcelona (Spain) will be organized.
