http://forum.bolseiros.org/viewtopic.ph ... rro#p42472

Luxembourg and the Netherlands are the champions. This is pretty amazing because the average person in Europe has to pay high IRS taxes. In my country, an annual salary of around 25.000 euros pays around 30% of IRS and those earning just above 36.000 euro they have to pay a tax of around 37%. No wonder all the 19 biggest Portuguese companies (just one of them has sales of 6 billion euro per year) have move is fiscal headquarters from Portugal to the Netherlands. Of course as a retaliation move Portugal decided to created a 10 years tax free program for elders of rich countries to move to Portugal paying zero tax over (pension income, rental income, capital gains on real estate, interest, dividends ) https://www.globalcitizensolutions.com/ ... -portugal/

Of course, when countries fight each other over taxes only rich people get to benefit. So my suggestion is as follows. Every single taxpayer (including public servants) should start a company to be located in a tax heaven to pay just 4 or 5% tax. So the only problem is how do we fund government spending if in the future all citizens were in fiscal terms registered has companies? By eliminating IRS and having only VAT ?

A search on Scopus since the year 2000 for the terms "Tax evasion" on Title, Abs, key retrieves 2008 documents while a search for the terms "Luxury and fashion" in all sections retrieves 6162 publications! Why do science cares so little about tax evasion and so much about luxury fashion ? Can it be the famous ivory tower syndrome ?

This is mostly due to the carousel fraud (link below) so the question is why Europe is putting so much of the taxpayers money in pharaonic-lunatic missions like the 1 trillion brain project and so little in issues that are very important to reduce wealth inequalities and the cohesion of Europe ?

The citation above was taken from pag 24 in the very recent report "Sustainable Equality-2019-2024". In page 86 its refreshing to read a recommendation in order to create a new European Agency to tackle tax and finance crime. https://www.progressivesociety.eu/publi ... -2019-2024
