Top 100 Platinum h-index in the world

Mensagem por Torgal » quinta ago 29, 2019 8:55 am

In the link above the Top 100 authors with the highest platinum h-index, in which 16 scientists belong to the Broad Institute from MIT & Harvard

Check email below for details. Derek Smith has inserted two new columns (about the Platinum h-index) in the 100.000 most cited scientists file by Stanford Professor John Ioannidis. The email below has also a link for the editorial that for the first time suggested the Platinum h-index. The new index does not favor researchers with long careers as the h-index does nor the scientist's owners of paper mills.

Good afternoon Professor Torgal,

Greetings again from Australia.

Regarding the dataset recently published by Dr Ioannidis and colleagues which lists the top 100,000 authors in the scientific world.

In the attached preliminary file, we have calculated some additional information for each author in the dataset:

• Platinum H scores and overall ranking by Platinum H scores (green columns)
• Overall ranking by H Index, total articles and total citations (purple columns)

Here’s the link for the Platinum H calculation: ... ode=vaeh22

This updated preliminary dataset makes it possible to visualize and compare Platinum H Index scores for all authors (including by country) and compare with regular H Indices and so on. ... =drive_web

Please let me know what you think.

Best regards,

Derek Smith
