Link above for a study based on 33 million papers disclosed this month concerning diversity and Top-cited publications. This study confirms findings of previous studies already mentioned in the email below.

Still on the issue of Nobel prizes see paper "Evolution of National Nobel Prize Shares in the 20th Century" http://people.idsia.ch/~juergen/nobelshare.pdf by Jürgen Schmidhuber, Professor of Artificial Intelligence. His page has very interesting things http://people.idsia.ch/~juergen/ the one that i found most interesting was his comments on soccer champions and on other famous related events. The funny is that several hundred years for now nobody will remember those, not even great technological events will be remembered, even great men of science will be forgotten, even Archimedes that Jürgen Schmidhuber points to be likely "the greatest scientist ever". Still, they will remember an illiterate child that was born two millennia ago in the Middle East whose short life has shaped and reshaped empires through history just by saying a few strange things. And that somehow gives some clues about what is really important in the long run, some ideas that do not rust or can be corrupted being able to endure for millennia. On this issue an interesting question is the following, if we wanted to choose only 150 words to summit all He said, 150 words capable of shaping and reshaping empires through history what would those words be ? My choice is this one (Corinthians 13:4-8; John 13:34-35; Matthew 5:46-48).

Also interesting is that in one of the many links on his website Jürgen Schmidhuber wrote that "history itself is about to converge around 2040 in an Omega Point (Teilhard de Chardin, 1916)" full paper in here https://arxiv.org/pdf/cs/0606081.pdf
